Can someone inspect a car in TX for me?

You will be compensated. I'm looking at buying an E31 in Alamo, TX, (I'm in California) and would love to get another set of eyes and hands on it before taking a flight out there. I have a 40-50 item checklist of things to check, as well as a test drive.

My sister's brother-in-law lives in Harlingen about 30 minutes from Alamo. He's an elderly man about 80, still rides a motorcycle, and he's been a car enthusiast most of his life. His son owns a 3 series and had a 911 in years past. I could ask him if he would be interested in driving over to look at the car if you don't find someone else.

There is a service called “WeGoLook” that will go onsite and do a thorough write up on condition and take a bunch of photos for $100. For another $30 I think they will do a video too. It’s not a pre purchase inspection, but visual / cosmetic condition. In the video they will show the car running though and you will be able to see any error lights.

WeGoLook sounds like a good alternative for most any type of inspection if they have help in your locale.
