    Exclamation Tires rubbing

Help! I bought some nice rims and tires off of craigslist, 235/45/17 for my 03 z4, I put them on today and the front tire is rubbing when the wheel is turned just alittle and i hit a bump. I live on a really bumpy road so its noticeable quite often, smooth roads its okay. The rub is coming from where the front bumper meets the side panel (that separation beside the headlight) it is just barely catching the plastic there but i worry if a hit a big bump if it would be strong enough to take the bumper off completely. Long story short, I'm looking for a solution, any product to raise the front suspension a tiny bit or maybe something to get the wheel from poking out that far. Like I say its barely scraping but something needs to change. Please help

Sounds like you have the wrong offset on the rims
The tire is not overly tall or wide and should work with stock suspension.
You don't to raise the ride height and honestly I do not know how you would
post some pics so we can see your issue.

BTW you will not rip the bumper off, it is secured top and bottom with bolts and screws.

I also have a 03 Z4 with stock 16 inch rims and tires. I recently bought the 18 inch staggered wheel and tire set up for my 2.5. I researched the offset and my new wheels have the recommended offset. Will I have any trouble with tire rubbing.

    2014 428i, 2006 Z4 3.0i,
I recently put new Apex wheels from Turner. They advised the largest combination I could put for a staggered setup would be: Front 8.5" ET38 wheel with 225/40/18 tire and Rear 9.5" ET35 with 255/35/18 tire. Granted I went with 18" wheels, but the using the front wheel the difference is your tires are 1/2 wider than mine. Do you know the offset (ET)?
