Dear All,
Have a problems with oil out from SC. Is this seal the reason? I tried to find out more about it in one of my previous threads but had not clear info.

I cant identify it however it looks like a conventional industrial seal. Measure inside and outside diameter in mm an find one with oil resistant material. The only other things I remember is that some industrial seal are rotational and some are linear for like a rod to extend out of. i beleive the linear style have extra ridges inside the outer wipers to hold pressure like motorcycle fork seals.
The part numbers are similar to bearings. I.e. 3508. 35mm od and 8 mm id.
You won’t find any number other than the Vortech specific part number... it means nothing outside of Vortech. The only guy to get the identical mechanical seal is Superchargerrebuilds.com The mechanical seal he sells is identical to the original. Do not try another type.
