Greetings:
I am the original owner of a 2007 X3 w 109k miles. Recently my wife has complained about the ride and getting car sick. Admittedly it rides like a truck. Michelins installed last year didn't help matters. I seem to feel swaying in the rear. Pushing down on all four corners is very stiff and no apparent softness.
Does anyone have experience with a bad riding X3 and have insight on what I can do to keep it in the family? My wife and i both have had back surgeries and are more aware of seating and ride issues.
Thanks in advance, Mark.
I had an 06. If you have swaying in the rear you may need a 4 wheel alignment. And yes, it drives like a truck until you get to the 2011 model.

Make sure your rear coil springs are not broken, it’s common.
verify your shocks/struts are not leaking, also common
make sure your thrust rod bushings are in good shape ( if not leaking, should be done around 50k )
verify you have a proper alignment
after that stuff...it’s probably how it’s gonna ride.
Thanks for the input!
