E39 Some kind of leak, oil?

Hey everybody i have a 525i 2001 manual gearbox and today when i lifted the car up on the yearly inspection i found this and im really not that good with cars but i love them so i decided to come here for some advice.Here is picture of leak from below: https://imgur.com/a/0p4aX What could it be leaking from? Ive had VCG problems before but i let mechanics replace it and i came back after a week because it was still leaking so they retightened the bolts a little and it stopped for a while. Now its a little bit of leaking there too but doesnt look minor, could it be running down and its not really possible to spot from above? Or could this leak be a oil pan gasket? Oil level is fine and i drive it hard. Thanks for help

Any competent Independent BMW savvy shop can figure this one out. The possible list of oil leaks in probability ranking looks like this
Valve cover gasket (installed correctly?)
Oil Filter Housing Gasket (OFH)
Oil pan Gasket

Non gasket issues include: Oil filter cap seal (actually an O-ring), sloppy oil changes, and a REAL bad oil filler cap leak.

That could also be a rear main seal leak.

And it could be all of those combined.
