    Bmw e46 330cd 2005 heating problem

I have to put my heater on between 27 and 32c in order to get some heat. Anything lower means cold air, I’ve changed the water valve but nothing, is it the thermostat?

Getting colder in the Uk please advise!

I don't think that it could be this, but check temperature sensor inside a/c front panel

    Can the sensors be replaced?

You have killed me with this question. I don't have idea, propably not, if I remember correctly it's looks like a part of whole control panel. I can't find photos which I did while cleaning it. You have to get there where my finger shows but from other side.

You can also clean this fan

Copy the link into the google chrome browser and then right click to translate it.

OP, you need to check several things:
    - does the gauge cluster ambient air temperature reading match the actual outside temperature?
    - when was the cooling system last serviced?
    - what is the cooling system’s maintenance history?

Google “bmw E46 hidden obc functions.” Test #7 will show you the temperature of the coolant as seen by the engine computer (DME). The temperature after 10 miles of continuous driving should be in the 95*C to 100*C range. If it is low the thermostat is suspect.

That’s brilliant, I will strip it down over the weekend. I will report back my findings?
