    Workshop lighting?

Looking for suggestions for good lighting.
I am building a proper servicing shop with two post lift and want wall lighting so not stumbling around in the shadows when under a raised car.
I have provided electric at 54" high and 8' apart.
Thinking of some fluorescent or LED tubular type but open for suggestions, especially from those who've done this.

I got 36" two tube LED units from COSTCO @$29 each. I believe they put out 1300 lumens per two-tube unit. They can be strung end to end ( be careful, some units don't have the end plug even though in identical boxes). I also bought Snap On 2000 LED portable units @$29 each from COSTCO. I mounted a few in strategic locations along side walls so they can be rotated and pivoted into optimum position. Not elegant, but my garage can blast about 10,000 lumens if I turn on all my lights at once.

    I'll look into those, thanks.
Meanwhile I've been doing some reading here and my head is spinning. https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/...splay.php?f=30

I'd suggest Big Ass Fans lights, have them in a few places and they're awesome.

I wound up buying some 1'x4' flat panel LED lights from Home Depot. They seem to light up the area well and the color(4000k) seems okay. We'll see how I like them once the lift is in and I'm working with them.
I'll be looking into their fans as the ceiling is high and I'll need to push the heat back down.
