Drivetrain malfunction reduce power 2013 BMW 328i

Please help. My car is out of warranty and Im trying to figure out why its stuck on limp mode. At first it started doing this at statrup on occassions, but slowly it has gotten worse to the point of it always being on limp mode. I have already changed all spark plugs as well as all the coils. Yesterday i had my car professionally scanned and this is the codes that it gave me:

123401 electric wastegate, learning stop: malfunction during catalyc converter heating

123432 electric wastegate, learning stop: stop position (wastegate closed) outside valid range

120408 chargin pressure control, deactivation: pressure build-up blocked

Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!

It would seem that your wastegate isn't closing. I'd suggest that you replace the vacuum hoses; They live in a difficult environment. You might also want to use a hand-operated vacuum pump to make sure that delivering vacuum causes the wastegate control rod to move.

Yes, it's a separate part. But, it will need to be adjusted and tested properly using genuine BMW software. You can't just bolt it up and clear the fault. Well, you could, but it's a slim chance you get the length of the rod exactly right.

Thank you for catching my error, White94RX !

Ramos, please note that White94RX is a Level 1 BMW dealer master tech....officially, he's my competition. But while I certainly would have found out, quickly, that your car had an electronic wastegate -- HE already knew that. And, while I have ISTA (BMW's computer) at my shop, White94RX already knew that ISTA needs to be used to adjust the wastegate linkage.

What I'm saying is that the dealership still has the best information and experience, for dealing with your young and complex car. You can instead decide to enlist the services of a top quality, extremely well equipped indie BMW specialist, if you feel so strongly. But seriously, you cannot possibly deal with your car without using extremely specialized BMW software.

I really appreciate your reply. I honestly just want to get the car fix. I drive an hour to work everyday in order to provide for my family and im trying to get the car fix so it doesnt break down on me on my way to work. I preffer any solution that doesnt involve dealership, only because i had so many bad experiences where the dealers tell me parts are wrong with the car that are not and i end up spending thousands of dollars on things that the car truthfully didnt really need. Please help me!

Um, you've been told what's broken, what part you need to replace, and the computer that needs to be used to calibrate the new part. I don't see any way we can be of more help than that??

Oh, the ISTA software will also have a guided test plan for your codes. White 94 RX has maybe seen enough of this failure to not need to follow that test plan. I would personally follow the test regime, to provide documentation as to why I was calling for the part. But of course, that testing equals more labor charge.

Curious, what ended up happening, Ramos? My car is doing the exact same thing. Curious if you took it to the dealer and they were able to fix it as well as the approximate cost.

CourtneyDC/Ramos - my 2013 X1 has the same problem. Did you fix your car issue? was it with dealer or indy shop? My dealer is asking to change the Guibo (flex disc) as the rear is starting to crack and ELECTRIC WASTEGATE FAULT, DME SOFTWARE ERROR PER TEST, PROGRAM (UPDATE AND RECHECK). I replaced a new battery and next day I got into a limp mode. Dealer claims that, the old battery did not read all the sensors and now with new one, it is recognizing the problem. He quoted around $1000 to get this fixed. Please advice!.
