I have a 1990 325i that is S52 swapped.
My setup:
- Ground Control coilovers. (I can add the spring rates later today)
- Rebuilt factory LSD
- 2.5 degree negative front camber, 2.0 degree negative rear camber
- 0 toe front, 1/8" toe rear
- Corner balanced with 50/50 cross weight
- 2950lbs with full tank and myself in the car
- Stock sway bars
- 15x8" wheels
- 225/45/15 Hankook RS4 tires
I am trying to figure out the best hot temperature for the RS4 tires that I run with the setup and camber that I have. I am used to running 38 psi hot on my E46 M3 but I don't know what this car wants. Some people say more, others say that RS4s like less pressure.
Suspension: AST 4100 GTS, Vorshlag camber plates, Turner limiters
Brakes: ZCP front and rear drilled rotors, Turner stainless steel brake lines, ATE Super Blue brake fluid
Other: Reinforced rear subframe, All new RTAB, RSM, FCAB, Dunlop Star Spec tires 245/40/18 275/35/18
Take temp readings across the tires. Work the pressure to try to balance out the temps hot across the tire. That should indicate your contact patch is good. Keep a notebook.
ME:"I want to make my car faster and lighter"
THEM:" Get out and let someone else drive"
I don't know, sorry. But, I have to say, sweet car.
If God meant for man to motor-swap LS engines into track cars, He wouldn't have created Corvettes.
