have to reinitialize the key more than once

so far ive had to reinitialize my key about 3 times this month. everytime i try to unlock my car, it wouldnt work. sometimes the trunk button would work but today, that also gave out. ive been reinitializing the key after everytime but those times i was lucky as i had the window down and able to reach the ignition. right now i cant even get the windows down by holding down the unlock button. would this point to my key being faulty and needing a replacement?

It seems as though the module inside is faulty - is this the key that you got with the car or a secondary one that you ordered and had programmed?

It's the one i got with the car. If it is the module, is there any physical way of knowing if it actually is faulty? (Opening up the module and finding any signs of it being faulty)
