I Have a 2006 550i with the SMG transmission and I heard before that their is a process that you do and it adjust the clutch? I'm not sure if my Clutch is worn or just needs to be adjusted it seems to be slipping when I try to accelerate to fast.
Hello and welcome to the forum! I haven't heard of a clutch adjustment for the SMG transmission; what are you exactly adjusting? How many miles do you have on your E60?

It's probably worn out there is a learning operation that you do when you replace the clutch
Hi,
slipping clutch at Non-M SMG is generally not a fault of the clutch itself but of the clutch actuator which is leaking. Check the clutch actuator (slave cylinder) if there is any oil at the rod or even leaking into clutch bell housing.
