Not sure to post here. Warring about buying a BMW via Autonation and Valencia BMW, CA.
I am a 13 year BMW driver. I am the second owner of a 1999 540i Dynan chip, v8, six speed manual. I love this car and you will not pry it from my dead cold hands.
Just dissed by Valencia BMW trying to buy a 2014 3 series manual. I need a new commuter car. They sold me on a 2014 3 series, six speed manual drive for $18,999. Financed me for a 3 series automatic drive for $23k without telling me they were financing the purchase of a completely different car (same year, same model, same color, different transmission). Seems they did not think I would notice paying more or a different transmission. Scary. I noticed the discrepancy because of the increase in base price and I ran the VIN, telling me it was not a manual trans, but an automatic...obviously, not the car I was trying to buy. They did not disclose they were financing a completely different vehicle from what I was purchasing, though it was at a higher price. FYI to those buying cars. Be aware. What they did was fraudulent.
