Hello there, does anyone know how to Hotwire or bypass the key switch on a bmw e34 1995 525i? I'm having some issues because the ignition is spinning when I try to start it. Thanks.

Ehhh buy a new ignition cylinder and replace the one that's spinning. You have to use bobby pin to push this spring down by sticking it in a slot On ignition. Just have to make sure you have it in right potion. Many videos on this. Do a search. You can use a screw driver to start it once you get the cylinder on and waiting on new one to put in.

Spinning in the housing would be a failed link to the switch. Bigger job.
search "ignition lock" and you ought to find loads about this common problem
