Drivers Airbag Recall?

Has anyone else got a letter about a drivers airbag recall for the e46? Also does anyone know what bolts on an e46 are size T8?

1) yes. It’s a broadly known recall. Search google and call the dealer and schedule yours if it hasn’t been done.

2) you are going to have to be a LITTLE more specific.

My local BMW dealer says..emphatically...NO!...No new air-bag for me! If I didn't buy my BMW from them, than go shit in you're hat!................OK..I can live with that...afterall, I did not actually buy the car from BMW...or even have an extended warranty program....lolololololol

Yeah, that makes no sense. They are obligated to address recalls.

An auto manufacturer is required by law to perform a federally mandated recall on its products regardless of who owns the car. I report the dealer to the US Departmrnt of Transportation. Recalls never die until every car covered by the recall has had the recall “action” performed on every car that’s still registered.
