Replacing rear brake copper pipes on my E38

    Hi
Anyone know how easy/difficult it is DIY to replace the rear brake pipes on my E38. I was told that on the 3 series (not sure which) it is necessary to drop the fuel tank. Paul

Brake lines should NEVER be copper. Stainless steel with a double flared end are the only safe type of line.

Thanks, do you know how difficult/what's involved regarding the lowering or removal of the fuel tank?
