Springs: 2001 3.0 on a 1998 Z3M ???

This may be a dumb question. I will do some research, but I wonder if anyone knows offhand. I'm getting ready to put new Koni's on my Z3M. I'd like a little stiffer springs, but don't really want to lower it. I've been considering H&R sway bars. I just noticed some free springs from a 2001 3.0 and wonder about how they might compare with my stock springs. Anyone know offhand? thanks for any help........

Z3 springs won't fit M struts. Besides, the 3.0 will be taller and softer.

How about Ground Control coilovers? You should be able to pick your spring rates and should be able to maintain your ride height with that route.

Just too much money for me, thanks. I'm trying to build the courage to buy the sway bars.
