84 325e blower motor not working

As the title says the blower motor in my 1984 325e does not work on any speed. I have replaced the motor itself. I have also verified that the switch itself work. From what I understand it is not the resistor pack because if that was what had failed the blower motor would still work on its highest speed. Does anyone have any ideas for what it might be? Thanks for your help.

Have you verified that you're getting power to the switch with a multimeter?

I have not checked at the switch. I did check at the motor. The motor is getting about 7 volts.

Is that on max speed? IIRC it should get 12v, trace the full circuit from the fuse to the blower motor and find out where the voltage drop is.

Yes that was on full speed. I guess I will have to set aside some time to go through the system in detail. These electrical problems can be such a pain.
