Looking to gauge interest in a group buy for special 10mm ARP head studs.
I have been working with ARP on availability and pricing on the hardware but we need to gain some interest on this first. In order for it to work, we would need at least 10 committed for them to make a special run for us. There is a 9-10 week wait once the order is placed.
We have a choice between 10mm L19 studs with nuts/washers OR Custom Age 625+ head studs with nuts/washers. It will be one or the other, unless there is enough to do both of them. I believe the difference in price between the L19 and 625+ studs is approximately $150 give/take.
Im presuming the pricing to be about $450 for the L19 package and $600 for the Custom Age 625+
Im working on getting material info from ARP. Once I receive it, Ill update the thread.

Can't wait 9-10 weeks to put head back on. Plus that's a lot of money for some studs.
Wasn't there concensus on this?
Why not 11mm CA 625+?
Put me down for an L19 group buy.
Thats not the idea, soon it will be winter and usually guys will be building their motors.
I posted up on Boosted E36 World on Facebook, there is alot more interest on the 625 studs.
Been through 11mm studs, there are too many failures with the block cracking with 11mm studs.
Ill put you on the list for the L19 studs, if theres not enough people on that list do you want the 625 studs instead?

I'm only really interested in the L19 to avoid headgasket sealing issues. I don't think 625s would be beneficial to me.
Looks like we met the minimum quantity of 10 complete sets.
Let me know if you are interested in picking up a set.

I'm honestly surprised 10+. That's means we should see some crazy high HP builds soon. Can't imagine someone looking for under 700 springing for these. Can't wait.

what people believe that??
Talked to Brian at VAC Motorsports about sponsoring this group buy. VAC has agreed to do so as long as we get enough buyers. He might even be able to get the pricing lower depending on how many more participants we get.
I asked Brian to get pricing and to let me know so I can post it here. Payment would be going right to VAC Motorsports.
