Recently i buy a 2002 525d with 445km on board , the car is in very good condition but it is my first diesel vehicle, please tell me what should I watch and how good is this particular engine?

I don't think any e39 diesels were sold in the states so there probably isn't much knowledge here unfortunately. There are some scattered Europeans on here that might have some knowledge.
