Can an E30 computer be read by an OBDII code reader using the adapter below. I have a 1990 vert. I know it has an OBDI but I've tried the stomp test with no success.

if its obd1, than I don't think even using a wiring adapter will allow an obd2 scanner to properly read what is coming through.
but, I wonder if that adapter will allow the "torque lite" app to work and show you all the engine stuff? that would definitely be cool
No e30s again.
If the stomp test doesn't work your throttle position sensor may need adjusting.
Fwiw I can read codes on my '90 with my Peake reader.
that's good to know. does it plug right in? is that an obd2 reader, the peake reader
No e30s again.
The peake reader is specific to BMW, not a pure OBDII reader. It will read OBDII codes but will also read BMW specific codes and some pre-OBDII cars like later model e30s. It plugs into the 'pac-man' port located under the hood, passenger side.
