Got the Fly out in like 10 minutes with the engine sitting on the pallet... now i just gotta find time to mill it down, but i have zero spare time until end of december.

While i am at i really thought of going twincharged with a roots blower or a move to compound turbo... i have a 46mm turbo on the shelf and really love the engineering behind that, also havng somethin crazy and unique.. but the already very little space doesnt really allow it, as i really dont see any space to move the big turbo to any other location than where its already sitting. packing a roots blower (sort of eaton m62) in there would also be a pain, but i think it would be "easier" when mounted somewhere low, like beneath the alternator or where AC or Power Steering was....

I bolted the gearbox back on, still cant make the starter fit in. Talked to several ppl over the webs, they told me the m50 starter should work. its a pain that i always have t get the gearbox on to mount the starter. I will unbolt it all once again and try to find out whats wrong with it and compare it to my m50 flys... who knows whats wrong with my m30 fly and where its originally from... i am at the point of just selling it and get a (hopefully) plug and play m52b28 lightweight 240mm one, if it firs with my sachs 765 that would be the least time wasting option.

So, i made the starter fit with opening up the holes a good bit more..
I repainted the most of the visual spots of the bay and the front today. hopefully i can put the engine back in soon.

Welded some brackets to the cooler so i can kinda clamp the fan in. no space to fab a shroud. but never had overheating issues so far, so i think it will still al work fine.
