My first love. I still drink Sake in regret of letting her go.

This one drinks fuel like it is Redbull, so she has been "sealed" away for now...

I think this makes it addiction...

1 owner, Ascot Green 328i, all original. Even came with the original wheels and a matching spare. I had the BBS from the M3 hanging around and had to throw em on. I like the look. This things a time capsule, really great condition, bought it for my girlfriend so Ill end up selling the Saab at some point soon (E46 wagon will replace that eventually).

Just dumped a ton of money into this car, think more than I have spent on one time on any other car. It developed a small leak around the TB cooling hose (its been sitting in a garage for 10 years as the ad said) so I am getting new intake manifold/TB gaskets, CCV system, all the hoses under the intake manifold, radiator/hoses with euro expansion tank conversion, thermostat/thermo housing, full brake kit too. Will do suspension down the road once needed, felt ok for right now and my gf doesnt drive very hard...

New daily driver for myself, picked this up a little over a week ago. Production date 6/03 (last production month for wagons) 525iT, Bluewater Metallic, self levelling rear suspension, front/rear PDC, rear sunshades, xenons, nicely specced for a 525. Car was bought from the original owner's son, so was a one owner car. 152K miles on it - needs a little love, bought with intermittent A/C which I discovered after much trial and error to be the aux fan harness.
Replaced window regulator, few things on the way... now to code the euro amber tails to work properly

Not going too crazy with maintenance on this one as I am swapping in a M54B30 someday relatively soon. Already have my eyes set on a donor 530i in fact...

My father in-law finally agreed to sell me his 86 944 that he bought new and has only 62K miles. That and a new garage with a lift makes me a happy camper. I love walking into the garage and seeing these two.IMG_20171217_205055.jpg

Coming off of sportbikes with their adrenalin pumping power, I opted for a very easy riding ADV bike. The F700GS is a very comfortable upright rider that smooths out the bumpiest road surfaces. A great summer pleasure rider on any size or shaped highway.

So, 3 of the 4 cars I posted 2 years ago in this thread are gone (TDI, A4 Avant, 450SL) and I now have this as my daily:

Stock 19s above; below, shod for winter:

And my wife now drives the Tacoma visible in the background. Our first truck, our first non-German automobile.

I retrofitted LED headlights. Eventually I'll install lowering springs.

    Yes, stock rubber is 235/35-19.
Lots of guys take the 19s off their Golf Rs and put lighter, aftermarket 18s on. There are many owner stories about damaging the 19" wheels--the dealer strongly suggested I buy extra wheel warranty/insurance, but I declined. The ride on the 19s is actually pretty nice (better/quieter, IMO, than the 17s on our '08 Jetta) but whenever I accidentally strike a pothole, it's brutally jarring and stress-inducing.

wife has a mb c300 w/ amg wheel pkg….30/35 series..

do your pocket a favor, buy the ins!...ours is 20/month

already needed two Pirelli run flats...over 290 each!..

its just a pita driving the thing....haaaate it

30/35 series is jus plain stupid on east coast roads for a daily or similar.....hitting a hole is mental anguish...…..and it is so hard to avoid EVERY hole.

the z's at 40/45 is lowest Id go for most situs

Thanks for the advice, I may just have the 18" winter wheels re-shod with summer rubber if I decide the stock wheels are at risk. A close friend, also an R owner, removed his factory 19s almost immediately upon purchasing the car, obtained another couple sets of 18s and sold off the stock corners. I do quite like the design of the stock "Cadiz" rims...I believe they are available in 18", so maybe I'll look to make a swap.

    Meanwhile, I'll be careful!

I’m on my second Tacoma doublecab. I wouldn’t have anything else for a daily driver.

My Daily driver is a 2018 Ford F-150 Lariat that I need for work. Parked next to the M Coupe for scale. Wife's car is a 2014 VW Tiguan, that for some reason I've never taken a picture of

Late last year__1st week of December__my wife spotted a post one night on the local BMW enthusiast group's FB page; a dealer on the east coast had just taken in a low-mileage X5 on trade and was offering it CPO.

Ever since moving to Florida (2012) my wife wanted a white X5. We held off replacing her 122,000 mile 2011 X5 until she sold her retail shop in Sarasota last May, and was not going to be subjecting her "new" car to 60-mile/day commuting (with kamikaze and/or brain-dead Florida drivers). Then we were waiting to see what the 2019 X5s looked like; well neither of us liked BMW's move to ginormous kidneys, and then this one pops up...

    Enter:

2016 X5M (F85 series) Mineral White Metallic/beige with 15,900-some miles on it when we drove it off the lot. The previous owner max'd it out with every option BMW offered, even little things like accessory pedals/footrest, floormats, WHOLE FRONT/leading surfaces, etc., covered with Expel, etc.,etc. Then he started checking off the list of Dinan upgrades available; Dinan CAI, free-flow exhaust, front lowering springs (the rear has air bags and compensates) and the Stg-II piggyback ECU, yielding 716 hp/702 Lbs-ft torque, up from the stock 567hp/553 Lb-ft (according to Dinan's website graphs).

After a few months in, and we both really like it! I took it for a weekend trip to go vintage go kart racing a couple of hours away at the end of January, but our first really big drive in it will be in a couple weeks when we head to New Orleans. Around town, we've been getting like 16 to 16-1/2 MPG (it's very hard NOT to tickle it a little bit) but I'm hoping to maybe see 21 mpg on the hwy. The smiles/mile are off the chart! Oh sure, it's really fast and the acceleration is crazy, but where it really impresses is how well it rides__on 285/35 & 325/30 x 21 rubber__and handles. Active suspension, struts/shocks, "bags" and active roll stabilization (planetary gearsets and motors on the rollbars!) gives it an uncanny flat cornering stance!

    My wife's daily driver...

That's BOLD, Randy. Glad you're both digging it!
It looks like a more than capable road trip vehicle, though I wouldn't want to feed it!

I have a crappy commute and wanted comfy with all the goodies. I was offered a steal of a lease on an '19 CTS Luxury. It handles, steers and brakes surprisingly well for something 5-series sized. I need to try a G30 because this feels better than the F10 ever did.

Nice truck Randy, 700hp O_O. People are pretty harsh on the new BMW stuff, but I generally like them quite a bit.
