    BMW Scanner 1.4 "unlocked version"

I have a question about the BMW Scanner 1.4 "unlocked version". Does anyone know if that spesific version can also write a memblock file to an ecu eeprom chip. It does list it can read and save one, but cant find if it can write one

M35080 eeprom can't be erased/written by PASoft or any other software through diagnostics K-Line. You have to read it and write it with a direct eeprom reader.
It will not have anything to do with PASoft lock/unlock.

Isn't this vid showing that its possible with PA Soft? But if so i guess its only the mrsz4 and some of the mrsz3's

I jumped too quickly to conclusion that you were trying to read/write an EEPROM from an instrument cluster or such.

Same situation applies for airbag, but you would be reading the MCU internal memory.
Many tools can read the memory, even INPA can, but you cannot write to some while it's powered up and processing.

Yes, BmW scanner could be used to clear the eeprom, but unfortunately cause of the interface i cant use it on the airbag module i have cause its onboard write only. Btw heard that its possible to swap out the mrsz3 with mrsz4 if only changing the impact sensors?
