E39 ZF5HP24 wiring info

Hi, My transmission ZF5HP24 goes into failsafe so I am trying to do some fault finding before needing to go to an auto tranny shop to be told i need a rebuild (sorry I have trust issues). I have scrolled thru many posts but I cannot find what i need.I have the Bentley wiring book but need someone to verify what I am doing.Does pins 14 and 42 in the Bentley manual equal pins 1 and ten on the plug at the transmission?Can I test from the plugs at the AGS? as room is limited at transmission socket.Which is pin 1 and 92, there are 2 connectors 1-40 and 1-52?Has someone identified these before? I do not believe the oil level is low as there is no oil leaks and has been working fine for 50,000 kms since last transmission service. Trying to identify issue without dropping pan first.The battery and Alternator are also ok.Any help would be welcome. Thanks.
