Dealer told me a mouse nest was found in my fuel vent diagnostic module area. Chewed through wire. Check engine light is on. I can't pass emissions. $40 part dealer wants $950 to fix it. 2011 328I I have a pic of wire as well. Thanks.

You'd have to tell us what part it is that costs $40, but the dealer wants $950 to fix. Certainly, there are $40 part that require ~7 or 8 hours to replace, but a DMTL part wouldn't seem to be one of them. Can you post a copy of your estimate, on You Tube or another site, and give us a link?
