    Horn

    Okay i want to get a new horn because my car sounds like a pussy. are car horns universal ????

    No e30s, again :(
    other than how they mount, I believe so.

    I think something must be wrong though because all the e30s I have ever owned had loud solid sounding horns.
    No e30s again.

    There's a high frequency horn and a low frequency horn. One of yours is probably bad.

    I'm not really sure what you're asking here... Just replace the broken one. Clown horn suggests the low-frequency horn is broken and the high is still working, but there's an easy way to figure it out: Get under the car and see what the Hz of each horn is. I'm pretty sure it says on the horn itself. Stand near the front of the car and have someone honk the horn. You'll hear which side works, then replace the horn on the other side with a horn of the same Hz. If you don't see the part number on the horn itself, enter your VIN at realOEM and it'll give you the part number for each Hz.

    and I think they are on the side of the radiator mounting frame. like by the head lights though. I think
