    2004 bmw 745li

    swapping motor from 02 to 04 745 will it work?

    Got a 2004 745LI that has been skipping really bad for sometime now and have had a few shops check it out no one can figure it out we have another 745 a 2002 motor and trans run great body and interior just beat up so was wondering if someone knew if the motor would work in the 2004. Or what is different.

    As far as I know, the engines in a 2002 and 2004 are identical.
