Where does this wire go? 1992 e36 325i m50 engine

I pulled this motor out two weeks ago to do some work to it and now i'm putting it back in but i don't remember where this wire was attached. It's either a ground or goes to the starter. But i already have a large cable going to the starter. It's a 1992 325i

Maybe I figured it out. Maybe they both go to the starter. One for the starter and one for the alternator.

Thats the hot wire for your starter solenoid
