Still working on improving the look of my 750. I did a front suspension refreshed, including deleting the SLS and lowered the car with H&R stage 2.
Looking good, however I would like the tires to come out a lil more. What mod are you guys doing to accomplish that while maintaining handling? Spacers or bigger tires?
for tires I have the regular 235/50/18 - front and 255/45/18 - rear
Here is a picture. Thanks

I did 10mm spacers on my 740 it has H&R 2's also my tires are the same as yours
Cool. Do you have any vibrations?
Also my rear tires are some what lower pass the wheel well. will that stop it from sticking out more with the spacer?
I see yours is at the correct hight.
no vibration , no rubbing. I went with H&R spacers as well little more expensive but I think worth it........
I'm thinking spacers rather than bigger tyres!
I bought my H&R 10mm spacers on Ebay ........
Cool, will try to find some. Am thinking 10mm front and 15mm rear.
Did you have 10 all around?
Here is how my ride looks lowered and without spacers:

10 all around for me
I'm trying to post pictures of mine with 15mm but can't figure out Flickr
I love the look. I have pictures on my Instagram @buckclifford

Get 275mm wide tires in the back to get rid of the stretched look that you get from 255mm tires. Makes a big difference in the appearance.
And I believe Buck has 15mm spacers all around.
Current: 2007 Z4 M Coupe (blue/black)
Previous: 2001 740iL Sport (black/black), 2000 528i Sport (black/tan), 1995 318is (black/black), 1991 318is (white/black)
I have 10mm front/15mm rear H&R spacers on my 740i Sport w/MPars. I think I paid around $250 for spacers and longer lug bolts. The wider tires are a cheaper option initially, I think, but after the first set I think the spacers are less expensive.

whats a good tire brand to run on these e38?
I will get a quote for a 275/40/18 and 285/40/18 for rear and move my 255/45/18 to the front.
I'm happy with the Continental DWS06.
Looking pretty sharp already! For finding the perfect fit on the wheel spacers, once you have your tires sorted follow the DIY in the little video below, it'll help you dial in your spacer fitment and really prefect your stance.

I am running a set of 255/45/18 General GMAX AS-03 on the Rear and was quoted arount $520 to get new set of 275/40/18 of the same tire installed and rear moved to front.
On the other end a set of H&R 15mm and 20mm from Turner comes to be around $320.
Would it be better to get a new set of 275/40 or get the spacers for 200$ less?
Actually i just found a set of General for 260$. Not bad at all. Now this is def cheaper then spacers. May consider.
