Add Spacers or Bigger tires E38 750

Still working on improving the look of my 750. I did a front suspension refreshed, including deleting the SLS and lowered the car with H&R stage 2.
Looking good, however I would like the tires to come out a lil more. What mod are you guys doing to accomplish that while maintaining handling? Spacers or bigger tires?

for tires I have the regular 235/50/18 - front and 255/45/18 - rear

    Here is a picture. Thanks

Cool. Do you have any vibrations?

Also my rear tires are some what lower pass the wheel well. will that stop it from sticking out more with the spacer?
I see yours is at the correct hight.

Try moving your rear tires on to the front wheels and replace the rears with 285/40/18. That's what I did with my old mpars.

I had no issues with that setup, that combination filled out the fenderwell pretty nicely on my 01 740i Sport and did not stick out. I unfortunately do not have any pictures as both my 01 740i and 01 750il are on Dinan 19's now that were originally used on an E46 M3.

Yea me too. Went to get price on 285/40 18 tires, and they are expensive. looking around $400+

Will try spacers first. What a good site to get them from? And whats a good size to put on?

I like the spacers that are made by Turner Motorsports, you may need longer bolts as well depending on the size you are looking to use.

Get 275mm wide tires in the back to get rid of the stretched look that you get from 255mm tires. Makes a big difference in the appearance.

And I believe Buck has 15mm spacers all around.

yea but cost is the issue here.

    whats the cost for 4 h&r spacers vs 2 285 40 tires?

I have 10mm front/15mm rear H&R spacers on my 740i Sport w/MPars. I think I paid around $250 for spacers and longer lug bolts. The wider tires are a cheaper option initially, I think, but after the first set I think the spacers are less expensive.

whats a good tire brand to run on these e38?

I will get a quote for a 275/40/18 and 285/40/18 for rear and move my 255/45/18 to the front.

Looking pretty sharp already! For finding the perfect fit on the wheel spacers, once you have your tires sorted follow the DIY in the little video below, it'll help you dial in your spacer fitment and really prefect your stance.

I am running a set of 255/45/18 General GMAX AS-03 on the Rear and was quoted arount $520 to get new set of 275/40/18 of the same tire installed and rear moved to front.

On the other end a set of H&R 15mm and 20mm from Turner comes to be around $320.

Would it be better to get a new set of 275/40 or get the spacers for 200$ less?
