No affiliation to seller, just thought that this is an interesting and pretty rare car. New buyer would definitely need to back out some of the boy racer mods....
Thats pretty cool. Too bad about the m3 grills on the fenders.
This one is on out local CL even though it is in Europe
Pretty crazy.

Yes, it's interesting how much it will go for. From a pictures it seems that interior will need some expensive work. Headliner and dashboard need to be restored. Some door panel issues. Roof leaks? From couple underside pictures - whole suspension will need to be restored. Engine compartment... Other than that - nice looking car
guess the seller doesn't know paint code 490 sonderlack just means special paint. The car's color is called petrol mica.
Would be better without the body kit and angel eyes.
that champagne interior and leather dash is pretty awesome though.

Nice looking example with low miles. The champagne color interior is pretty rare, and it's one of the best colors especially with the exterior color. For all the great care this car it is claimed to have received, including no winter use, it's odd to see that ugly stain at the sunroof corner. Ad claims no leaks??! Also thought these 3.8L versions came with six speed gearboxes.
yeah the 6 speed started around 5/94, and, exceptional care, with the highly sought after duct taped intake boot!

Nice looking car, located in my country of all places. Not a fan of the body kit, the headlights etc. But a big fan of the interior colour. Curious to see what kind of price this brings.
Lawd does that have potential. Either way
I would be interested but only if I could get local, trusted eyes on the thing. Nothing like a sketchy, sight-unseen B38...
I'm really interested in a set of deep dish Racing Dynamics, if anyone is looking to move. Square 9.5s would be the ticket.
Also it's worth noting that this car has a wide hood and grill. Neither of which was offered on 1993 M5s. Also it does not have the Nurburgring package as the brakes are missing.
It would be a great score for the motor though. Miles are low, however the duct tape mod is somewhat frightening.

I am interested. My '91 could really use that engine and interior.

The big brakes didn't come on until cars produced May of '94, at which time the Nurburging package was eliminated, as all of those components then became standard (aside from servotronic).
This definitely has the Nurburging package, with the S782A option listed on the vin decode, as well as the shock setting switch on the dash.

The poor thing really deserves to be rescued and put back to stock ( whatever that was )
I love the seats, not much else.
Hope one of the ///M fans buys and corrects the indignities done to this car.
If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark Donohue
This looks very consistent with a Japanese market example, heavily modified by a previous owner with more money than taste. My car came with that same strut tower bar, which was a dealer installed option on quite a few cars sold there. The options list is definitely Japanese without even having to look at the V.I.N. and the car is loaded with options (heated seats front and rear and the complete sun shade package give it away).
If anyone here is serious about buying this car I'm willing to help out. I speak French and could drive the car here (Ontario, not far from Toronto) and keep it for a couple of weeks while you work out the logistics of importing it (a process I'm very familiar with).

If this car gets parted out I will take some of the parts including all the rear shades as a back up to mine. I am missing the left rear quarter shade. I could buy this and part mine out too. This has lower miles.
It is too expensive to part out IMO
