Hey guys, figured I'd introduce myself here.
After a long time of looking, I recently purchased a 1998 Techno Violet M3 / dove grey. The color combo has been a dream of mine. Its got 140k miles. Purchased through another member on this forum in California. I technically bought it as a daily, but more so for driving in the canyons. It's definitely a stiff ride, but handles like a dream!
It's got a decent amount of mostly suspension mods, but not much cosmetically -
3.38 limited slip differential
Shark injector software
Koni adjustable shocks
H&R race springs
Treehouse racing polyurethane 75D FCAB
AKG 75D polyurethane RTAB
AKG 90A polyurethane subframe bushings
AKG 90A polyurethane transmission mounts
UUC adjustable front sway bar
UUC adjustable rear sway bar
JTD solid rear shock mounts
Racing Dynamics front strut tower brace
OEM BMW X-Brace
UUC lightweight flywheel
OEM Sachs clutch kit
Deleted clutch delay valve
Rogue Engineering short shift kit
Stoptech stainless steel brake lines
JTD aluminum underpanel
JTD brake cooling ducts
Renown fog delete covers
Dinan carbon fiber cold air intake
Bridgestone Potenza RE-11
S54 Z3M 3-row radiator
Emp metal impeller water pump
OEM Bmw clutch / UUC flywheel
The main issue I'm going to start working on are the front vaders. They both slide forward and backwards, but are stuck in the current recline position. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers!

I'm a big fan of Techo Violet M3s. I've had mine for a while now and I appreciate the color more each year. I was a little iffy when I first purchased but I'm glad I did. Nice car you picked up!
If the vaders are power, it is a small gear that is stuck. You can find them online for about $30. Rather easy to replace when you remove the seat from the car. It always gives you the opportunity to clean the carpet under the seat when you replace it
