Need help wiring replacement tail light on F23

Replacing tail light that was broken by hit and run (bummer). New Taillight requires Repair Cable which has two brown wires. No wiring instructions were provided. I see a brown wire that goes into the 8 wire connector. Has anyone completed this repair? Thanks!

Brown is ground in a BMW.

Thank you. Finally got in touch with a dealer that knew something about this. The tail lights for this model was regularly burning out because of grounding problems so they added this extra pair of ground wires. I attached one to each screw that holds the tail light i place and everything is working OK.
