So I have a small problem; I finally sourced a beautiful set of Vaders and did not know that the 95s were different from the 96-99s. The issue is that the seat belt anchor point (with the Torx head bolt) from my sedan does not fit into the seat base of the Vaders.
I am avoiding swapping out the belts because, well that would be a PITA. I could drill out the hole on the metal bracket of the belt but that is as exactly as shady as it sounds.
Has anyone found a work around for this issue?
I will try to upload some pictures here shortly.
Why not just get a different bolt from Home Depot that would fit? I imagine it would be fine from a safety standpoint. If not, I would drill out the hole in the seat belt bracket...not really a big deal and it will never be seen. If you are worried about reverting back and having too big a hole, I would just add a washer

Not sure, but I would have to track down a set of belts from a 95. As I am thinking about it 95 coupe seat-belts attach to a bar on the floor and not to the seat. So that isn't even an option. I am going to BMWManic's advice and see if I can come up with something from Home Depot.
Swap the buckles from your sedan seats to your vaders. Its one bolt, and one wire. You will need to lift the bottom cushions up from the rear to access the wiring, as well as swap over your passenger side occupancy mat.
I wish you were local, I could show you in less than an hour, but its harder to explain.

You can just swap your seat rails from the old seats to the new. Then you'll have the required anchor point.
I haven't heard this as a major problem before -- either swap rails, or swap the buckles (and run the wire). Hopefully this works out!
