Brake pedal doesn't rise up immediately

So after leaving my 8er at the work multi-storey car park for eight weeks - I took it home last night, and noticed that the brake pedal does not rise back up as fast as I remember, it's like a slow gradual release.
Braking still feels fine (the whole car feel heavy and lethargic after driving a modern vehicle for so long).

My question is - what could be the cause of this, and is it a major issue? Brakes have been bled in the last six months when I changed the rotors and pads.

I think I had oiled the linkages about a year ago.

tangcla, did you get to the bottom of this issue yet?
Was wondering if it's got anything to do with collapsed throttle pedal shaft bushings, as per this recent thread.

Never looked further into it, to be honest! The car's a very distant low priority at the moment. Just finished house move, still renovating, and the car has lived at the work car park for about four months.
Drove it for the first time in ages on Monday, to attend a close friend's funeral.
