    Introducing my 2007 BMW X3 6spd Manual

    Hello X3 Forum,

I have been on the hunt for 9 months to find a SUV to compliment my E36 M3 and finally found one. I've been a true manual car guy since I was 16 and after driving one I just had to find one. Took me longer than expected but I got a decently low mileage one (93k) that was in great shape. Pretty much stock other than the 20 in wheels. Plans for the SUV are just to keep it in great shape, maybe some stock sport package 19s and maybe installing a hitch.

    Enjoy!

    Cheers!

Nice! Mine is an '08 six speed with 157,000 miles. Love it. I would spend the money on the sport steering wheel instead of new rims. Best mod ever. Changes the driving experience by a mile.

    Good looking car!

I looked into getting the sport steering wheel on eBay but the ones with heat, which I love so far, are over $750. Not sure if that is worth it quite yet.

Did an oil and filter change last night. Obviously pretty straight forward but wanted to keep a record of it. Done @ ~95k miles.

I got a 08 6speed also! Do yourself a favour fellas and get the /M ZHP 6speed shift knob. What a difference it makes as its weighted in shifting! And its a bit lower than the stock one.

The 20s don't look bad at all to be honest! I hate the look of the stock 17s as it makes our wheel wells look empty and just not proportional.

The sport steering wheel looks to be thicker? I am assuming thats like the M wheel for the E46s?

Way ahead of you. I got the ZHP knob about a week into my purchase just forgot to post it. I actually like the 20s as well but the tires are just more expensive then 19s and I got a great deal on some bare sport 19s.

Congrats on the 3 pedal X3! Stock Sport 19s would look very proper on it, but the 20s aren't terrible!
