Hard Dog Roll Bar Installation Instructions

Has anybody here installed a hard dog roll bar and happen to have some detailed instruction?

I am looking to buy one, and the instructions I am finding on the Bethania Garage site are average at best.

I have a PDF of Hard Dog's own instructions, and Bethania's instructions are a word for word copy.

Are there better photos in your PDF?

Okay, well I ordered it. Hopefully install won't be to much of a struggle.

Any updates or pics on roll bar? I've eyballed one for years, but considering pulling the trigger here soon. Also do you know if the windblocker would fit with a diagonal brace and harness bar?

I placed the order with Bethania last Monday. They were out of stock for the one I wanted, so I should hopefully be getting it by the start of October. Will update with photos after I install.

From their description, one has to convert an electric top to a manual one?

Nope. Just have to cut a notch in the bottom plate of the hard dog roll bar to clear the hydraulic piston.

I see no mention of that in the instructions. But in the literature page it does say: "
    • Not compatible with power top or hard top

But if the manual rising of the manual top clears the Hard Dog, what is different about the power rising.

Big notch? Little notch?... and I assume said notch doesn't affect the integrity of the mount... ?? Are there instructions for said notch online? or in the FAQ here?

    And as always: many thanks.
