    Fuel Injector Cleaner

    can anyone tell me the best types of Fuel injector concentrate additives that can thoroughly clean them? if it even does that...

    Maybe some new product is better, but the best available last time I educated myself on fi cleaners were techron as a routine additive and bg44k as an intensive cleaner prior to an oil change.

    It will take A LOT of fuel injector cleaner additive to do anything. Your best bet is to pull the injectors and have them professionally cleaned and flow tested. I just did this for an E38 750, and it was $130. Good to go now. You will spend much more on additive to achieve the same result.

    I think it wasn't too long ago that MaxLumen was looking to sell his set(s) of new Fuel Injectors. Search for his thread if you want to go with new injectors rather than refurbished. I have a new set from him in my car.
