    Koni single-adjustable shock drag setup

I'm going to the drag strip tonight to see where in the 14s my car will run.

I have Koni single-adjustables on the back and am trying to figure out how to set them up for drag launches.

I'm running 255-width Potenza RE-11s out back, probably aired down to low-20s based on what I've read.

The Konis are a pain to adjust as you have to fully compress them to adjust the rebound.

Any ideas where to set the rebound for good drag launches? When I launch at an autocross or street, if the tires spin at all it's usually violent wheelhop. If I launch at a low enough RPM I can floor it basically as soon as the clutch starts grabs, my car doesn't really have enough power to be traction limited, I just want to get the launch right.

See a launch here at 1:58:

That was with a friend driving, he launched hard then let off when he felt the wheelhop.

So I'm trying to figure out what to do with rebound.

My initial thought was to go full stiff on the rebound. The car launches, squats, and the shocks keep the rear end low. Stiff rebound prevents the rear tires from cycling and hopping up and down.

Or full loose on the rebound. The car launches, squats, and then the shock let the springs drive the tires back into the ground for max traction.

No idea where they're set, I haven't adjusted them since buying the car with them already installed.

    Thoughts?
