Improve Sound System on Leased X1 without Premium Package

I leased a new 2017 X1 last week. I made the mistake of not getting the premium package. As a result, the audio sounds terrible compared to what my previous car, an Audi A4 sounded like.

Leased vehicle has to be returned in original condition. What are my options for improving the sound system?

    Thanks,
    Douglas.

Hello and welcome to the forum! Just my 2 cents - it may be easier to return it and exchange it for one with the premium package. Don't know if it's worth the hassle of getting new speakers/amp, installing them, and then un-installing them.

Pretty sure returning a leased vehicle isn't an option.

    Hi,

Look to the direct swap, plug n play upgrade speaker packages from the likes of MTX, Focal, Rainbow, Rockford Fosgate, MB Quart, BSW etc. You simply swap them in and upon returning the car you put back the oem speakers.

    Cheers, Dennis!
