    750il and 850i parts interchangeable

Are the pulse sensor on spark plug wires 6 and 12 iterchangeable? Aswell as the crank sensors on the timing cases? The Pulse and crank sensors show up in alot of parts databases for the 750il but not under the 850i.

easy to check which parts are interchangeable, find the part number for your car on realoem, copy and go back to realoem and paste the number under PART NR APPLICATION SEARCH and all BMW using the same number will be shown

The sensors are interchangeable, but the spark plug wire looms aren't. No problem if you're just taking the sensors, but if you're trying to use wires from a 7 the plastic wire looms don't exactly bolt up easily from what I remember.

Not quite correct - the wires from an E32 750iL will match up to the M70 engine in a 1991-1993 E31 850. The same goes for the M73, they are interchangeable. I have wires from my M70 on our E38 (M73) - no problems

Bumping this thread- I'm in need of wires, and the E32 sets are easier to come by than E31. Is the difference in the plastic carrier only, or perhaps the wire lengths? I noticed they are different part #'s on RealOEM from E31 to E32. My 850i is a '91.

    The differences
    E32 750
IGNITION WIRING TUBE 2 up to 02/1990 12121715824
    IGNITION WIRING TUBE 2 from 02/1990 12121729305
IGNITION WIRE X 12121705675 all production years
Reason: up to 02/1990 pre facelift engine with oil filler cap in the valve cover at the rear, facelift has it at the front. Wiring tubes have the fixing points and the outlet holes for the ignition wires in different places.

    E31 850Ci all years
    IGNITION WIRING TUBE 2 12121729305
    IGNITION WIRE X 12121705675

    E31 850CSi all years
    IGNITION WIRING TUBE 2 12121729305
    IGNITION WIRE X 12121705675

    E38 750 M73 all years
    IGNITION WIRING TUBE 2 12121729305
    IGNITION WIRE X 12121705675

I offer the ignition wires only and that is why they fit on all M70 and M73. But the old ignition wiring tubes have to be used and the donuts/cylinder identification sensors have to be transfered to my new ignition wires which have woodscrew type connection on the angled boots.
