    2008 E64 M6 OBD 2 problem

Out of the blue I got a DSC, brake assist, and limp mode warning, on restarting my car after an uneventful drive across town(Pittsburgh, Pa.). The car is a convertible with 35,000 easy, well maintained miles. After sitting 6 hours the car restarted uneventfully and ran like new to the destination. When I tried to restart the car the same constellation of problems reappeared. After several repeats of the problem, I replaced the original battery to eliminate it as a possible source of the problem and had the dealer register it to the car. No change, so I had a friend pull the codes for me. They are U1140, U1141, and CD93, which were Greek to him and me without access to a key for these codes. So I figured I would take this information to the dealer I patronize and obtain an explanation and estimate for repair. I was surprised when they informed me I'd have to pay probably 3-4 hours labor for a diagnosis they couldn't and wouldn't guarantee. Does anyone have any advice on options that make sense?

I'm trying to find a way to nail down an S85 engine problem using the codes set and the circumstances under which they appeared, so I can decide on how best to resolve it. As I posted previously, the car starts and drives flawlessly with no codes set or any interruptions or hiccups in operation. The problem only appears upon an attempted second start sooner than 4-5 hours after shut down. Wait 4 hours or longer for the second start attempt and it starts and drives flawlessly again; sooner and the common DSC malfunction and limp mode screens along with DBC assistant disabling warnings appear. Codes pulled are as stated before, U1140, U1141, and CD93. Can bus off, voltage at terminal 87. Can a probable cause be identified based on these indicators? Hopefully someone can offer some suggestions and direction.
