Got the cooling system done today.
only thing I didn't install was the Volvo fan as it didn't fit

    -Koyo Rad
-EMP Stewart High flow water pump
    -HPS hoses
    -OEM thermostat
    -M50 aluminum thermostat housing

that's all for now, next to install are the UUC sway bars

yeah it was hitting on the a/c compressor and the water pump
and I used a lil bit of vaseline on the seal to answer your question.

how do you like the M50 Therm housing, i was looking for the aluminum m52 one, but i was reading that the fitment for the m52 ones were horrible, I ended just going plastic

I need to get my rear sway back on too. Its been off since since i put the rear end back in lol.

I like the fact it was 4 bucks at PYP so I saved 20+bucks buy getting a used one.
and the seal was 3 bucks. and a lil bit of grey silicon to help make sure it was sealed

I have the stock bars on now, I'm waiting for a package from AKG with my rear endlinks.
but I guess UUC sway bars and Revshift bushings don't like each other. might have to shave the bushings a lil bit for the rear sway bar

When I try to edit on my mobile it deletes the post no matter where I click on the screen. So if I click on the text box Presto, it's gone. Annoying, I didn't bother to re-type it. Thanks for that, I wasn't sure if I needed to buy something special for it. Never had a pump with an O-ring seal like that (that I changed out).

The old ones BMW sold were good. The new ones made by Euro that the aftermarket is selling as a performance upgrade have casting flaws and sometimes leak. I would buy BMW plastic before a cheap new aftermarket aluminum thermo housing. That said, I have an aluminum one and have gotten it to seal by using sealant, but you should not have to use sealant.

Gotcha, I just use a lol bit to help it side in, I still needed to slowly tighten the nuts to walk it in tho.

I just happen to find a alum m50 one at the JY I assume it's OEM. 4 bucks for oem part vs 20+ for AM any day lol

Thanks. 2 reasons for the M3 bumper.

    1.. looks
2.. opening for Hard Motorsport brake ducts.

    -----------------------------------------------

In other news. went to install UUC sway bars, and the front went in without an issue.

the rear on the other hand..... the UUC sway bar is hitting my Revshift diff bushings. which is really f***ing annoying.
so now I need new diff bushings. Gonna swing by Garagistic and see if their diff bushings would clear the swaybar.

Has anyone else had this issue???, I couldn't find any threads regarding this issue. I know I cant be the 1st person ever to install UUC rear sway bar with Revshift diff bushings.

    Feels bad man...

I have condor Diff bushings, waiting to slap them in on my welded diff. Currently not running a rear sway so I have no problems with clearance

Revshift is pretty responsive, maybe reach out to them to see if this has been brought to their attention before?

got some more work done on the car.

1st was the Brakes and Hard Motorsport ducts

    E46 330 front brakes with G-Loc R6 pads.

E46 325/8 rear brakes with Hawk HPS pans.

    Hard Motorsports M3 Brake ducting

Backing plate courtesy of Team Neverlift (Tony)

I used m6 rivnuts to bolt the bracket for the ducting up since its a non m3 (I guess m3s have bolt provisions?)

Then I swapped the Revshift bushings for Condor Speed Shop's also courtesy of Tony so I could install my Rear UUC sway bar

    And Installed the sway bars

That's all for now, next stuff to do is a CSB, Guibo, and probably brass caliper bushings. (squeaking driving me crazy)
