Does anyone happen to know the correct location for mounting the horns? PO has got the whole front end of my '91 850 boogered up and I would like to make it right, so if anyone happens to have a pic, diagram or really good written description I would really appreciate it.
Thanks

I seen them removed from the lower original location pictured to up higher where the white arrows are pointing, They don't get damaged as easily and are quite loud in this area.
Thanks guys!
I had a feeling they were originally underneath that piece of sheet metal, but it does seem like a bad place. I'm liking the upper mounting location more.
Appreciate the help.

The first thing to ground out is the spoiler, so if the horns are grounding you are in trouble.
...and if you do relocate them, That's the best time to update them as well.
Suggestions on updates?

And the horn air compressor on my car for those horns died so I replaced with (on TXGR8Whites recommendation) Wolo Bad Boy air horns that are still fine today and take up less space.

You can slightly bend the brackets and use the middle bolt location of the power steering cooler to mount the horns. This keeps them out of sight in the kidney grills while providing optimal output. They are also protected from water inside the radiator covering.
Hella Supertones are available fairly cheap and provide plenty of noise with the stock wiring and relay.
