SOLD.
I’ve been doing DE’s for many years, instructing, Club Race School, and I was building the car with the plan to race BMWCCA so I have built it to the max of IP spec. But life changes and I no longer want to race or even DE, so I’m putting it up for sale.
It’s very close to IP ready, it just needs the last few pieces of safety equipment, and I think it would be as competitive as any IP car. I have done practically all the work myself and I am meticulous about doing things properly. I don’t think you’ll find a more well built and maintained car. I have only ever DE’d it and it’s always been very reliable. I have had very few problems. It’s been off track a few times, but has never hit anything, so the body is undamaged and original. For comparison sake, my best time at VIR is 2:09 and that was a DE on old tires. I’m sure a better driver with nice new sticky tires could do much better.
Car is located in Charlotte, NC.

Safety Equipment
Full cage, the dash bar has been routed to allow the heater to blow hot air on the windshield, which is great for humid or rainy days to keep the winshield from fogging.
Drivers seat Racetech 4009HR (w/halo). The seat is out of date, it is fine for DE’s but would need a seat back brace to be legal to race.
Passenger seat is a Racetech 4000W (no halo)
Schroth Profi II 6 point harnesses for driver and passenger (they are out of date) but fine for DE’s
Steering wheel, Momo MOD 69 (I believe from looking at the Momo web site).
NRG Gen 2.5 Quick Release hub
Momo steering wheel hub adapter
SPA Firefighter AFFF Fire System 4L multiflow Steel, is included, it is new but is NOT installed. It also needs to be serviced because it is out of date.
Wheels
It comes with 3 sets of Kosie K1, 17” by 8.5” wheels. One set has Hankook Ventus Z214 245/40-17 that are new and unused, one set has Hoosier Radial Wet H2O 225/45/17 which are slightly used but still in great condition. And the set that is on the car has old and very used Hankook’s.
For DE’s the car is ready to go, it’s super fast and you’ll win every DE you enter. J If you want to race IP, here’s what the car needs:
Window and center nets (hardware for the window net is in, but the net is out of date)
New harnesses, they are out of date.
A new seat (it’s out of date) or a seat back brace.
Fire suppression.
Some weight in the trunk, it is under weight for an IP car.
An inspection and a logbook.
A good driver.

BUY MY FORGELINE WHEELS!
Incredible machine. Side note: To my understanding, I thought the Z3M steering rack and 96+ M3 rack were the same?
Now that the holidays are well in the past, I'll bump this back up. It is still for sale. Thanks for looking!
