2006 M3 Convertible - 6MT Carbon on Cinnamon - 138k Miles
After about a year of ownership, I'm moving into DC proper and need to pare down the fleet.
You're looking at a 2006 BMW M3 convertible - the final model year for the E46 coupe/convertible as the E90 generation was phased in. This car does NOT have the junk they called SMG, it has a real six-speed manual transmission. Three pedals and a lever that you stir around to generate various amounts of forward movement and noise.
There's about 138k miles on the odometer and it will slowly increase as I daily-drive the car. On that note, this is a daily driver. It's not a show car. I wanted a car that was maintained and not perfect, because I drive it into DC sometimes, I'm sure people bump it when they parallel park, and I didn't want to feel bad about a nick here or scratch there. It is a great five-footer.
Full details and maintenance can be found on my Craigslist ad. Happy to provide more photos as I know they do not show as much as they could. Price is OBO.

Great Color Combo!
Have you had the subframe inspected? Also, do you have maintenance records?
The subframe was inspected by the previous owner's BMW dealer in Ohio, as well as the shop I use locally (Martin Motorsports in Alexandria). No tears/cracks are evident, and my mechanic's advice was to just keep driving the car and have more periodic inspections performed. He works exclusively on BMWs and sees quite a few E46s through the shop, so I felt comfortable heeding that advice.
I had a friend pull all of the records from the car's dealer service. Beyond that, I have a few receipts from the past owner as well as all of my records in the year I've owned it. All the records I have are here.

Thats nice, too bad it not an SMG my wife has a bad knee.
Ironically enough, I looked for quite some time to find one that wasn't SMG! Everything locally was, and unless you have to drive it, I far prefer the three-pedal option.
More photos, for those interested. Tried to capture more of the paint at someone else's request, plus wanted to show the front seats given they need some lovin'. I think a competent upholstery shop could repair them pretty easily.
