Hello everyone,
I picked up a E36 M3 a few months ago, and did some research on the coilovers that the previous owner had installed. As the title sates they are DDM tuning and I saw some pretty nasty pictures of bracket failures and general poor quality combing through the forums.
My question is how dangerous are they? Is the bracket issue something that needs immediate replacement? I figured they were cheapo coilovers and was anticipating replacing them, but this info kinda elevated the priority of the suspension.
BTW, this is not a DD. Y'all don't have to worry about me stubbornly driving on them anyway.
Thanks
Well it's mainly just a fun project right now. Not sure what the end result will be just yet. Though, I was hoping to learn the car for a little bit while saving for some quality coilovers. I have some wiring gremlins to track down in the mean time.
If the DDM coils are that level of garbage, it might make more sense to just throw in some dampers and springs for the time being.
