What quiet AS tires for a 2008 328i convertible

    I currently have

    Rear - Bridgestone Turenza 255/35/R18
    Front - Bridgestone Potenza 255/40/R18

The car is new to me and on the highway I thought a wheel bearing was going out because of the road noise, plus it rides like a lumber wagon. From reading on here I think I will switch to non-run flats in order to help with the road noise and ride.

So...What are some of the best choices for all season non-run flats that are quiet.

    Thank you

Hello and welcome to the forum! You're going to get a lot of opinions here. I also can't stand run-flats - look at the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 tires, excellent overall tire that also won't break the bank. Just my 2 cents.

If you want quiet and smooth I would look at the Bridgestone Driveguard. They are a new generation run flat tire that is quiet and comfortable riding. In our testing they handled better than the Conti original equipment tires and had the ride quality of a non run flat tire. If you go non run flat in out testing the Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 would be a very good choice. They are going to give you good ride and performance but also good tread life.
If I can help let me know.
