Relocating to Denver

Not sure if this is the best place to post, but I wanted to reach out to some local forum members in the Denver/Boulder area as my fiance and I are relocating from Cincinnati in October for her job. I wanted to get a feel for what car related events that go on in the area and what are some good BMW specific shops.

I have an e36 m3 turned track car that I run a few times a year at Mid Ohio here at home.

Also any information on the various areas of Denver to narrow down our house search, She will be working in Boulder and I will most likely be working in Denver so any information on areas north of Denver would be great!

Housing market is crazy right now. You will likely want to look in the Westminster/Arvada/Broomfield area. Check out the Denver BMW Group and Colorado Cars and Coffee pages for BMW and general meets. There are a couple decent tracks, but not that close to Denver. High Plains Raceway is a great one.

Thanks for the info! Yeah we have noticed pricing on houses are quite a bit higher than we're used to in the Midwest. Have seen some good in car from High Plains. can't wait to check it out. Does Denver have weekly Cars and Coffee?

Yes. The biggest meet is usually the 1st Saturday of each month, but great cars come out to all of them. The Cars and Coffee facebook link I posted lists a lot of meets in the pinned post on that page.

The RMCBMWCCA runs their own AutoX series and does two HPDE events per year on top of the local SCCA and NASA events.
