So to answer your question there is one under the rear seat and one in the right front kick panel.
why do you need to access the terminating resistors?

I found the front one today. its actually at the front of the car behind the bumper. Not sure why so many resources say its in the front right kickpanel..

This car was unable to communicate with the DSC and ARS modules. The front terminating resistor was shot. Replaced it today and restored communication.

For future reference U5 is the front terminating resistor for the PT-CAN bus

Where exactly is the rear 120 ohms resistor located at, I've removed the bottom rear seat cushion and I don't see it? I've only found the front one in front of the right side wheel behind the front bumper area.

I found the 120 ohm resistor below the right front headlight and it checked good. I sent my ABS computer out to Module Repair Pro in California for repair and they found a bad speed sensor and a bad barometric sensor but the module was communicating on the bench. Something is pulling the CAN Bus offline so I'm going to locate the rear terminating resistor and then the rotation rate sensor to see if they are good. If those check out it could be another module pulling the CAN line down or a broken wire.

    I'll keep you all posted.

    Cheers,

    Poon

Hey I Dont know if your still online these days but do you remember where exactly to find the front one? Ive tried to find it based on the photos to No avail. Also how were you able to reach it? did you have to remove the wheel? Is it the same as on the 2003 as it is on the 2004?
