I am looking to purchase a 2006 z4 and according to the carfax the tires were installed at 96000 miles the car now has 105000 and when I went to see the car the tires were bad.do the tires only last around 10000 on these cars.the tires are Bridgestone eco pis on all 4 .thanks jimbo
If the car has good alignment and non-worn suspension components, depending on the tire compound, you could expect 15-50k miles. With aggressive driving, you could get less than 10k miles.
Tire life is dependent on the quality of the tire, the alignment set-up and how hard the care is driven. I run Michelin Pilot Sports and get approx. 15,000 miles on the rears and 30,000 mile on the fronts ('03 with the "Sport" suspension).
These are toy cars, so you're not going to be running 600 treadwear all seasons on them. I probably get a good 15-20k out of Conti Extremecontact DWs or Sports.
